In the world of Undawn, there are exciting events and missions for you to attempt every day. Sometimes, they will be very close by, and you will be able to run straight there. But other times, reaching your destination will require a long and arduous journey.
On your first trek to a new place, you can learn the route and get to grips with your surroundings, but what about your second or third trip? To save our players time, we have created just the solution: road signs!
Road Signs: A Summary
Fig. 1
Firstly, there are two types of road signs in the game: ordinary road signs and stronghold road signs. Both types can be used for fast travel, and can be found near various important strongholds, intersections, and areas within the game. In most cases, you should be able to find these road signs pretty easily by sticking close to the highway and carefully surveying your surroundings.
Road signs can be used to travel quickly over both short and long distances, sparing you long, unnecessary sprints. However, players wanting to jump between road signs might find that it is harder than they expected.
Unlocking Road Signs
Fig. 2
When you arrive at a new location and come across a road sign, the word "Unlock" will pop up when you approach it. You'll have to unlock a road sign before it becomes available to you.
If you have not unlocked a road sign, then the transmission node at that location will not be visible. It is worth noting that although road signs can save you a lot of walking time, they will not carry you straight to a mission or event location. Road signs can bring you close, but the remainder of the journey is up to you.
How to Use Road Signs
Fig. 3
After unlocking a road sign, approach it and tap "Fast Travel" to go to the mini-map. Then, select and confirm your destination to travel.

It is worth noting that the mini-map will only display road sign icons. Those with a lock on them still need to be unlocked, but you can travel between the ones that have been lit up.
Using road signs to travel is much more convenient than walking or driving, making it easier for players to make daily progress in the game. We recommend opening the map whenever you reach a new location to see if there are any locked road signs nearby, as once they have been unlocked, they can be used forever.

There are many different areas in the world of Undawn. As your level gradually increases, you will be able to visit more and more locations. If you are traveling across one stretch of land, then you can probably make do with walking or driving a vehicle. But what do you do if you are far from your destination, or you need to make several trips?
Road signs are the perfect solution to this tricky issue. And you do not even need to be doing a mission or event to use road signs. You can use them during casual play as well!
Fig. 6
In the window on the right-hand side of the map, you will see "Frequent Locations" and transmission nodes for all the different areas. Here, you can favorite the transmission nodes you use frequently, making it more convenient for when you want to use them the next time.

To sum up, road signs are crucial if you want to experience the world of Undawn to the fullest. Whether you're on a mission or just playing casually, make sure to unlock and light up any road signs you pass by. They will be of great help throughout your time playing in the future.
Of course, if you have any other thoughts or strategies for using road signs, then feel free to share them with your fellow players. They'll be happy to hear them!
